Om oss

Vi er en  informasjonsportal “Litauiske nyheter i Norge - lietuvis.no” for litauere i Norge og de som planlegger å flytte hit eller skaffe seg jobb her i landet.

Vi jobber med å samle inn og lage allsidig informasjon for litauere om jobb, helse, studier og bosetting i Norge på litauisk og har etablert ulike prosjekter for å arbeide mot sosial dumping. Vi driver bl. a svartjenesten, kursvirksomhet og jobber med utgivelse av brosjyrer og egen avis på litauisk.

Lietuvis.no hjelper tusenvis av litauere som leter etter den type informasjon. Mer informasjon om prosjektet vårt er nederst på siden på engelsk.

Lietuvis.no drives av frivillige arbeidere. Alt arbeid gjøres på frivillig basis. Siden mottar ingen statlig økonomisk hjelp. Vi ønsker å utvide, modernisere og gjøre den mer brukervennlig. Til dette trenger vi din støtte i dette arbeidet:

• Økonomisk: Selv om hjemmesiden drives av frivillige medarbeidere, koster det penger å programmere, oversette og produsere stoff. Ditt økonomiske bidrag til lietuvis.no vil hjelpe med å videreutvikle siden, holde den oppdatert og berike innholdet. Økonomiske bidrag kan overføres via paypal som finnes nederst på siden til høyre

• Stoff: Du kan forfatte eller oversette aktuelle artikler som lietuvis.no’s lesere kan ha nytte av. Ta gjerne kontakt med oss før du setter i gang. Vi kan informere deg om hvilke emner som til enhver tid er aktuelle.

• Programmering: Kan du programmere, og kunne tenke deg å lage en eller annen løsning for lietuvis.no, er du mer enn hjertelig velkommen. Ta kontakt med oss for å diskutere ideen. Det er mye som kan gjøres på dette feltet, og det eneste som stopper en er fantasien og ressursene

• Ideer og meninger: Hvis du har en mening som du tror kan gjøre lietuvis.no bedre, må du ikke holde den for deg selv. Vi har behov for alle kreative ideer og kloke meninger.

Welcome to the information portal for Lithuanians living in Norway, lietuvis.no

Lietuvis.no is a volunteer project created to be a service to the large community of Lithuanians who live in Norway and those who are planning on moving here as well.

We created this site wanting to help Lithuanians living in Norway feel more at home by helping them find the resources they needed. We also want to provide a community for them to go to that could help answer any questions they have about setling in here in Norway and living in a foreign country.

We created this site because we realized that there was something missing for this group of people. This community had so many questions and dilemmas about living in this new country and did not know where to look for the answers. So we decided to create the one and only place for them to go to for the information they needed - in Lithuanian.

This site is still in its beginning stages, but Lietuvis.no has been designed to be a service to this community and a resource to those with questions.

In cooperation with various governmental organizations, communities and associations in Lithuania and Norway we want to provide help and support to them in their new lives abroad. Lietuvis.no is the place where Lithuanians living in Norway can find reliable information about what matters most to them.

Additionally we aim to make Lietuvis.no the place to go for Lithuanians in Norway to go to find the most current news and upcoming events. We started this project as a service, but to continue this service we realized that we need sponsors to fund the continuation of this website. With up-to-date information in their own language, a community to make them feel at home in Norway and free resources you can not find anywhere else but right here…lietuvis.no is a revolution in information for the growing Lithuanian community living in Norway.
